House Extension and Alterations
This was a 12 month building project that started with an extension to the house, doubling it in size and changing the overall appearance of the home.
We also built a standalone two car garage as part of the project.
“This is the second major renovation we have undertaken. Our first being a renovation to an original homestead built in 1958. What started as a add on became a complete demolition and rebuild. Our advice from Paget Construction was, "it would be cheaper to demolish and rebuild than to try and add old to new". Good advice, we ended up with a beautiful new home.
Our second renovation was when we moved and bought another home which again needed some major renovations. This 'add on' was a challenging lengthy process. Paget Construction embraced this major challenge through all seasons. Their personal approach made the whole renovation an easier transition for us as our living conditions were very difficult.
